Welcome to the Public Safety Leadership Academy
Our public safety leadership academy will provide a comprehensive and innovative education program that prepares the next generation of fire service, police, and law enforcement professionals to be highly skilled, ethical, and compassionate leaders. Our program will emphasize academic rigor, practical training, personalized mentorship, community service, leadership development, and ethics and professionalism to prepare our graduates for successful careers and to make a positive impact on their communities.
The academy will be a resource to youth and young adults in our central city community. It will be open to those individuals that are interested in becoming a Fire-Fighter, Police Officers, EMTs/paramedics. We will provide Leadership Training, Character Development, Anti-bullying, Drug and Gang Prevention/Awareness, and Fire Safety Education.
Participants will learn from active and retired members of the public safety community annual summer camp for firefighting and law enforcement Provide coaching, mentorship, and training on what it takes to become a public safety participant.
Elementary and high school students are the target age groups, with mentoring and coaching available for each group.
